Rupert Grint was born in Hertfordshire. His mother, Joanne Grint, a housewife, and his father, Nigel Grint, was a memorabilia dealer and former racing car driver. He has one brother, and three sisters.
Along with Daniel Radcliff, Rupert has also appeared as one of Dickens' famous : David Copperfield, where just like Daniel's his performance was well received.
Unlike Daniel, Rupert wanted to get into Harry Potter movie from the start and had sent a request to the producers to be auditioned. After being chosen for the first Harry Potter film, Rupert became a household "sidekick" and was virtually guaranteed continuation in the series.
